Lamborghini Aventador

The luxury sports car manufacturer, Lamborghini has finally launched its much awaited sports car Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 in India today at a price of Rs 3.69 crores. The increasing demand for the premium sports cars has been observed of late, especially after the first Indian Grand Prix race which is just the beginning. James Page, the Marketing Manager of Lamborghini SpA of South East Asia and Pacific has reported that 20 bookings of the sports car are already recorded and the current waiting time for the delivery stands to be 18 months.
Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 was launched globally in the month of March and 1,500 cars have been booked so far. On an overview and expansion plans in India, Page had informed that they sell around 100 Lamborghini cars a year in the country; they envisage selling 20 more cars this year. As a part of promoting sales, the premium luxury brand eyes to conduct a new Lamborghini owner training program on the F1 race track right here in India. This program was earlier conducted in Europe.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 comes with a powerful 6.5 L V12 engine to churn out a peak power of 700 Bhp and attains a top speed of 350 kmph. The car is an extremely light weight car that uses the carbon material similar to Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The cars will be showcased at their sole Lamborghini sales outlet, Exclusive Motors.
